Phase (ph) & Neutral (N)

Everyone has a common problem understanding what is phase and neutral. For those the below answer will help them to understand properly.

Ans:

Phase and neutral are the names of two conductor for differentiating them, from each other. Similar to DC where we use "+" and "-".

Phase is used to the conductor which supplies energy at that instant of time and Neutral to the conductor which acts as a return path for the conductor.

As we know that, only when the return path is provided current flows in the circuit.

Phase is used for mention the conductor in which the positive half of the sine wave passes and neutral for the conductor in which the negative half of the sine wave passes.

As we all know that, the AC current or voltage is made of two cycles.
